Why this programme
The player’s career extends beyond the pitch.
Coaches are often among the first trusted people players approach about contracts, club changes, trials, agents, overseas opportunities and career decisions. Coaches are not expected to become agents or lawyers. But understanding the professional environment helps them ask better questions, recognise concerns, support players responsibly and know when specialist advice is needed.
Throughout the programme, practical and anonymised football-industry experiences will be shared to connect each topic to situations coaches may encounter in their own environments.
What you will explore
Five areas around the professional environment of the player.
01
Professional Football Ecosystem
Understand the roles and relationships around a player — coaches, clubs, sporting directors, agents, families, governing bodies and other stakeholders.
02
Player Career Pathways
Explore common transitions from youth to senior football, professional contracts, playing opportunities, club movement, trials and overseas opportunities.
03
Agents, Representation & Professional Boundaries
Understand what football agents do, how representation works and where a coach’s responsibility should begin and end when players seek career guidance.
04
Contracts, Transfers & International Opportunities
Build practical awareness of contracts, transfer situations, windows, negotiations, trials, international opportunities and stakeholder communication.
05
Ethics, Player Welfare & Responsible Guidance
Recognise conflicts of interest, pressure, warning signs, player-welfare considerations and when appropriately qualified advice should be sought.

Khairul Asyraf is the Founder and Director of 2Touch International (2Ti), a Singapore-based football management, representation and consultancy business, and a FIFA Licensed Football Agent.
Through 2Ti, he has built practical experience across player representation, club requirements, scouting and recruitment cooperation, cross-border transfers, negotiation, stakeholder management and football-industry operations. For this programme, his role is to translate the realities of professional football into relevant knowledge for coaches — particularly around player career decisions, representation, club and agent relationships, transfers, international opportunities and professional boundaries.
