Why this workshop

Support the journey.
Understand the industry.

Parents often have to assess academies, trials, club opportunities, agents and career advice without a clear view of how the football industry works. This workshop provides practical frameworks for asking better questions, carrying out due diligence and supporting a child responsibly.

This is an education programme for parents. It is not football coaching, a trial, player assessment, recruitment service or representation offer.

Complimentary participant resource

Parents’ Playbook

Every confirmed workshop registration will receive this practical digital guide at no additional cost. It is designed to help parents continue the conversation at home and make more informed decisions about their child’s football journey.

What parents will explore

Five practical areas around the child’s football journey.

01

Development & Career Pathways

Understand the stages a young player may encounter and why progress is rarely a single, predictable route.

02

Evaluating Academies, Clubs & Opportunities

Ask better questions about coaching environments, playing opportunities, trials, overseas pathways and long-term fit.

03

Agents, Contracts & Due Diligence

Understand representation, common documents, warning signs and the checks parents should make before committing.

04

Wellbeing, Education & Family Decisions

Balance football ambition with wellbeing, education, identity, family priorities and sustainable development.

05

Communication & the Family Action Plan

Build a practical approach for conversations with the child, coaches, clubs and other football stakeholders.
